Star Couplings

Star couplings (Jaw type flexible couplings) is compact device consist of two jaw shape hub conect with inter midiat star shaped elastomeric (Rubber or Poly urethane) insert. It connects driver and driven shafts, compensating for angular or axial misalignments while absorbing shock and dampening vibration. These are commonly used in industrial machinery like pumps, conveyers and motor.

Construction Of Material

It consists of two jaw hub material Cast Iron or aluminium for light weight application.

Elastomeric elements consists of star shaped Nitrile rubber or Poly urethane for hoghter shock absorbtion and long life.

Maintenance-Free

Generally require no lubrication and allows for easy, quick installation.

Rubber or PU Elements are generally replasible items by the visual inspection if squeeze, show surface cracks or are permanently deformed, replace spider elements.
